Make the tricky bits click.
Fractions, calculations, money stories and more. Worked examples, visual steps and space to think things through.
Try a maths quest ↗✦ YEAR 5 PRACTICE. WITH A SENSE OF ADVENTURE.
Meet them in their world. Maths, English, coding and science quests turn a little practice into a bigger adventure—with progress you can actually see.
✓ No card needed✓ Designed around ages 9–10
A peek at the adventure. Illustrative product scene.
A DIFFERENT KIND OF “JUST ONE MORE.”
Give practice a purpose. A worked example becomes a small win. A small win becomes a mission they want to explore.
Follow an example, hear the explanation and use a space for working. Then have a go, at their own pace.
New learning activities earn XP. Repeating the same answer is still useful practice, but won’t keep adding points.
Unlock Flight Academy courses, build a spacecraft or drive a rover. Test an idea, see what happens and try again.
DON’T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT.
Try the feel of a lesson together.
No account. No card. Just curiosity.
ONE CURIOUS CHILD. PLENTY OF PLACES TO GO.
Fractions, calculations, money stories and more. Worked examples, visual steps and space to think things through.
Try a maths quest ↗Vocabulary, reading, spelling, punctuation and writing. From a new word to a diary entry they can make their own.
Try an English quest ↗Explore the Solar System, close a circuit and test a landing. Year 5 space and forces topics sit alongside extra science challenges.
Try a space quest ↗Trace turtle patterns, debug car mazes and turn counted loops into Python. Then create a playable quiz or an animated turtle race.
Explore the pilot ↗Explore all 118 elements, focus on the first 20 and meet the materials inside aircraft, circuits and everyday objects. Includes spoken explanations and detective challenges.
Discover the adventures ↗Designed around selected Year 5 topics in England, with revision and extension activities. Chemistry, Python, electricity and spacecraft engineering extend beyond the core Year 5 content. A supplement to school—not a complete curriculum or an 11+ course. See the science curriculum ↗
THEY SEE AN ADVENTURE. YOU SEE THE PROGRESS.
Each learner has their own saved work and progress. The parent view helps you see what they’ve tried, where they’ve used hints and what might need another look.
Separate learner accounts keep XP, writing and completed activities together. Parent reports are managed through organiser-provided access during the private pilot.
Server-checked XP awards once per activity. Practice stays open; repeated answers don’t farm points.
Review activity, first-attempt accuracy and hints. Export a CSV or print a report.

“Shall we try adding fractions with different denominators together?”
Example layout and sample figures, not a real learner’s results. Reports describe activity; they do not diagnose attainment.
FOUNDING FAMILIES · FREE PARENT PILOT
We’re turning a project built around one child’s curiosity into something more families can enjoy. First, we want to learn from parents like you.
A future subscription may follow, but there is no paid plan to buy today. Pilot access and timing will be confirmed individually; joining the interest list does not create an account.

GOOD QUESTIONS.
The parent pilot is free. There is no payment form, card requirement or automatic switch to a paid plan. If we offer paid plans later, you’ll choose whether to subscribe.
Our starting point is Year 5 in England, usually ages 9–10. Curricula differ across the UK. The activities cover selected maths, English and science topics, with extra challenges, rather than every part of the curriculum.
They follow worked examples, answer questions, write, investigate and explore. New activities earn XP that unlocks Flight Academy courses. Space Engineering missions let them choose parts, fly a simplified spacecraft and drive a Mars rover after landing.
The learning app checks answers and XP on the server. Each activity awards XP once per learner. They can repeat it for practice, but the same activity won’t keep adding points.
No. This is an early product designed to make practice inviting and help parents understand activity. We don’t yet have evidence to claim improved grades or learning outcomes. The pilot will help us evaluate the experience and improve the content.
The app runs in a browser and includes touch and keyboard controls. The hosted app is currently invite-only. Accounts are created by the organiser; public self-signup is not available. The sample on this page works without an account.
No. Our space activities are inspired by real missions, with simplified game physics. Learning Quest is independent and is not endorsed by NASA, Minecraft, Fortnite or Roblox.
Only for organising this parent pilot, not unrelated promotions. The form explains the storage and retention period before it opens. You can request removal using the pilot contact. We do not ask for children’s details on this page.
